DEFINITION
- Liquid droplets are liquid water droplets (can be supercooled) that have no appreciable terminal fall velocity (< 0.1 m s-1). Size range: 1-50 microns in diameter. The particle surface area concentration is the surface area of all concerned particles, integrated over a unit volume.
