impaction sampler
DEFINITION
- Aerosol particle filter sampler depositing the particles on a substrate by accelerating them in a jet pointing towards the substrate, thereby creating sharply bended streamlines which the particles can't follow. Geometry and jet velocity determine lower size limit of particles sampled.
