DEFINITION
- Instrument quantifying the hygroscopic growth of aerosol particles as a function of relative humidity below 100% by first drying the aerosol particles, size selecting them in a first differential mobility analyzer, exposing them to an atmosphere of defined relative humidity, and measuring the size distribution of the grown particles with a second differential mobility analyzer and subsequent counting.
