DEFINITION
- The atmosphere calibrated attenuated backscattered lidar signal (more known as calibrated attenuated backscatter) is the collected backscattered signal. It is due both to absorption and scattering into the atmosphere. The determination of this parameter requires a specific calibration procedure.
